squeeking window rubber

A tip I remember reading is to saturate the rubber seal with a silicon spray. Never tried it myself so can't confirm how successful it is unfortunately.

silicone spray works well on them, or you can norm reduce a bit by adjusting the door on the inside of the door card. a time consuming job though

i have heard that most liquids tend to leave smears on the glass for ages after,one of which was silicon.this is on my a6(c4) on the osr window,weird thing it also happens on the same window on my s6 sometimes.

Gummi Pfledge or something like that

Cleans, conditions and makes them look like new !

when going up or down,its that bad that people in the street look around(in horror lol)

I had this and it went away after I removed and cleaned the regulator - the slider bushes were absolutely gunked up and the wheels were in real need of some lubricant too! I also removed all the gunk off the part that runs along the top of the door and took it back to the suede feel rather than a crusty mess. Took an age the first time but I'd say you'd manage it in an hour as you'll not have to work out how it all comes to pieces!

Window squeek

I had drivers window making a horrible noise when going up/down I took the door card off cleaned and greased the wheels etc in there, it made a huge difference the window now glides up n down. I too thought it was the rubber causing the squeek/noise.

I agree,
Mine was the same. Door card off, clean up, re-grease, now is silky smooth.....
