            hopefully will stop leak ....
Appreciate any update if that works. A close friend is looking at this S2 project with idling issue and sunroof leak. We'll take a closer look after the brake pads and moto metal wheels installation on the current truck project.

Yes, all 4 water drainage hoses (no.2 and no.3) has been replaced with new ones and tested - all good.

                    Good.
Now I discovered another way these sunroofs leak. The surrounding inner part is sealed with a special non hardening sealant. If it's disturbed in any way, water will come in around the top of the a pillar. I ended up removing mine and found some rust underneath. I cleaned it all up, painted and 're sealed. So far it's been leak free. I used tiger seal.

These stainless runners also need to come off and get sealed. You need to be careful that you don’t get any in the cord track which is greased. I used silicone grease in the track.
I put some neoprene tape under the outer cover. Take it all apart and it’s all pretty self explanatory.
More pics in my thread I think. Check my Nothelle N300 Re build thread.

                            Thanks for detailed explanation.
I have inspected this part before installing last (3rd) sunroof, and there was no rust, nice clean grease everywhere .....

Thanks Dave....this just explained a mystery I've been chasing for years. Even went as far as to reseal my windshield. I guess the strong tropical sun, "hardened" the non hardening sealant
