Changing the glass on headlights

Hello i have a bit of a problem in my hands i bought very cheap headlight whit good class but whit 2 bottom clips only and its for my B4 model Coupe and i have this good in all other except glass headlight how hard is it to change the glass from the good one to the broken glass one ?

Changing the glass on headlights

It's really easy, pop the little metal clips off with a flat screwdriver under the end with the small hole, lift off the glass and rubber, clean the rubber and glass and refit. Don't touch the silver reflectors inside at all, and don't try to clean them except with clean air.

it worked great it was really easy to remove but now i just wonder what kind of glue i need to that rubber part it had some glue on it dont know if thats from stock ?

Pretty sure there should be no glue... they are just rubber gaskets...

Yes, early lights have a thin strip of double sided tape to hold the seal into the slot in the housing, but it's fine without it.
