I have used bras on my cars since 1970 when I had 67 bug. Great for rear engined car. My 914 has had a bra on it since 1981. Hardly any rock chips in it, and still the original paint.

As long as it does what you want it to do, it's fine. As for 'tan lines', most modern metallic finishes don't fade anyway.
I certainly would'nt call people with bras on their cars nerds, lots of Stateside cars have them...Never show a fool a half built house.

sorry for digging i am really searching for images of a2 using car bra. but all i can find in here are talking about female bra's... perverts. kidding
i am starting to think if i am gonna used a car bra or not since it looks very awful on a3 i cannot find any images on a2 maybe i will be the first idiot to place one i think i will just leave it without any bra's who cares.. having scratches is normal for a car.
