The back corner comes out just like in some other 2 door cars but it's electrically operated.

I found an audi breaker down south who had a set of opening side windows. He wanted £200. I can't remember who it was, someone round luton/bedford maybe?

You will need:
2 x side windows
2 x side window seals
2 x motors
2 x plastic motor covers
drivers door switch module ( 4 window switches )
wiring loom

This goes from drivers door through dashboard to both side windows. tucked under carpet at either side. I missed a set at a scrapyard in Cheshire for £90. I was going back to get the S2 hubs and the windows. They crushed it instead! what a waste.....

I think they are useful in that they allow fresh air to get to rear seat passengers/ dogs/children /Cindy Crawford etc..


Mind you there's no way you'd get me in the back seat of a coupe I'm 6 foot 6 tall.... than again maybe if Cindy Crawford was in ther I may try.

Hi,
The factory glass sunroof with solar cells was a very expensive optional extra on later coupes. Actually mine has all possible extras excluding this sunroof. Which is sad because that was the only extra I wished for myself. I wonder if any of you have come across the Webasto website. In my oppinion they manufacture the best aftermarket-and also the factory-sunroofs with many options. Not cheap, though. I am considering buying one. I must also confess that I purchased on on my previous car, a coupe quattro, and when going more than about 60 km/h the wind noise produced such a terrible deep frequency vibrating interference inside the car that I had a headache in thirty seconds. This was maybe because the factory roof for the coupe is relatively short compared to aftermarket ones. Or I dontno. I still miss it on my present car.
