Water injection tank

    To start with the car will not be mapped on the injection so I'll be using around 20-25% pure meth. Long term I plan to have the car mapped on meth so it will be upped to 50%. This is one of the reasons for such a large tank, if the engine is relying on the meth, then I don't want to risk running out.

    Oh, and OTT, what's that:mischeif:

      OTT = Over The Top or over over engineered
      I use about 40% meth and will be getting the car mapped for it once this block is ready to go in. Have a twin selectable map in mine so if water goes too low or jet blocks it is detected and jumps to standard low boost map. Testing it all on this engine before fitting the 'proper' one

        Got most of the welding completed today









        Lid tapped and in place, the plexiglass would have been in too but I managed to crack it whilst drilling the holes Luckily only ÂŁ1.95 off Ebay



        Seems a shame to paint it and hide it in the boot now

                        It really makes a difference too, we're having a mini heat wave here in the UK, it's 30°C! and I can tell that the water is making a difference, seems much smoother.

                              I need to get hold of a 1" BSP tap now as it's shunk when I welded it and won't screw all the way in.
