Turn a 20-30 cm long piece and tell us the results of measurements along the part.I am curious if something got out of alignment at lifting and shipping.

Thanks. Must bed it nicely first, on the pallet isn't the right way to keep it. We must move to another garage soon, so then I will align and set it right.

It's easy to do prototypes now, but for big series of parts a manual lathe isn't so good. Now you can make a special bushing, flange, axle etc direct when you need it, no need to go around asking machine shops, wait few days or weeks and then pay too much for it.

I'm planning of making a diy milling attachment to it also, then there would be even more possibilities.

Nice machine but out of my budget. Tooling adds up too.

Picked this up today. Had been looking at lathes for a long long time. But This Myford ML7 Tri-Leva was just too good to pass up .
