Heater matrix

Hello, over the last month I've noticed smell of anti freeze in the car only slightly and I love my windows to be smear free but I've noticed that they are getting musty very quickly, so I think the heater matrix needs changing but it's not leaking coolant into the car but I do have to top up a little every month. Where does anyone recommend I can get a good quality part please, something I'm going to fix this coming weekend, thank you

Well, I ordered a matrix from valeo and started fitting it today 8 hours later it's freakin done, what a stupid job it is especially when you realise the wiring for the auxhillary gauges is missing so the dash has to be removed again. Never willi do this job again, I'll just pay someone

I had to get my next door neighbors from both sides to help me get the dash back in

I'm so wound up from this stupid design, the dash part is not bad it's the rest of the crap that goes with it, it took me an hour just to remove and find the hidden bolts holding the matrix box to the bulk head, I work on cars all day but this took the pi##

I replaced mine (with a good second hand one ) back in about 2005, so I nearly got 10 years out of that one, I figure a new one now and it'll outlast me
