  • Wagner inlet and stroker motor

    To stroker users out there.
I have managed to find only one photo of a stroker engine with the Wagner reverse inlet manifold.
What mods would there be required to fit if you wanted it? Where does the problem exist? Is it around the throttle body area or the body of the manifold itself?

Jamo had a revese inlet manifold on his and I'm sure he had to cut a section out of the bonnet. Mine is quite tight with standard inlet, I've had to shim the motor mounts down by 5mm.

I also have the phenolic spacer which adds a bit more to the whole picture. We had to cut the inner area of the bonnet where the throttle cam is to clear.

You're going to have problems with a stroker block, they're another 16mm taller

On my 90q (with diesel block and wagner inlet), I hade to trim the frame structure to make it fit. If you loose the spacer and get busy with the dremel, it might fit...
