Here is my new IC fitted on the car. It is the same as Toms and Martins and a bargain at 190 quid. It is massive compared to the RS2 IC.

And here is the Xmember. Thanks to Martin for the original drawings. I modified mine to sit further back and higher so it would fit behind the RS2 bumper - and it does - just. Another bargain at 15 quid for stainless parts (cheers Tom) and another 5 quid for some scrap stainless to make the brackets on it.
The expensive bit is the silicon hoses to get it to fit but it will be getting fitted when the front entry inlet manifold goes on the car.
Before anyone says - one side plate is smaller so I can get a 3" hose up from the outlet of the IC to the maniold.
(Don't laugh at the welds - it can take my weight so is strong enough )Attached FilesLast edited by Doug_RS2; 17 October 2004, 20:50.S2,RS2,S4 WB,RS4,S4 B8,RS6 C5,RS6 C6,R8

If you are going to buy a welder, MIG may be the best option, I would suggest that you don't get a gasless MIG welder as you are stuck. If you get a mig with a bottle then you can always use gasless wire. I would suggest getting a decent unit as well. Don't go for the cheapest or you will regret it.
this lot seem helpful and reasonably priced. No link with them but they don't bulls**t you when you speak to them.
