Thanks Gary... its always nice when reality aligns with the family album. Doesn't help me understand why they weren't fitted to all cars though.

Sounds about right, one section either side of the seat rail front mount metal work and 2 per car side. Off to get that pic, post in 5

Edit: Pics added passenger side front and rear and drivers side front.

Don't ever fit RS2 seats then for two reasons: -

    1. Ther are even heavier with the electric motors!
    2. the only place to store your original S2 seats is the loft. Have you ever tried lifting those 8uggers through a loft hatch?

    Cheers n hernias

That area you're talking about just by your right foot is where the wiring was cracked and rotted through causing my interior lights and central locking to fail. I'd like to see what the conduit looks like too. Still havent fixed my leak after weeks of trying but it seems to have improved.

It is a nightmare when you're doing it on your own.

With the carpets, most of the trims out and the Corbeau seats in (which you can pick up one handed) my Avant was sooo much quicker!!

LOL - the noise is great alright...

I don't think there is a lot of weight in the carpet or the underfelt - when its dry - but when its wet its a different story.

Gotta say though - those front seats are stupidly heavy - I was amazed at that.
