Now it is satin black - the last black was far too glossy when I put it in the car.

I didn't take a pic but it would look better being lower and the face more vertical when it's in the car as well.

And, another excellent reason for having the boost gauge in this postition is you can go and do in gear runs and video the rev counter and boost gauge and analyse the video later.

Guys where did you buy the Autometer gauges? Was it on-line?

I got mine from SHY Auto Development .

Most places said they could get one but it would be two weeks minimum. I phoned SHY and they got me one in three days (although the courier neglected to deliver it for another two days).

£57 all in, if I remember correctly. I could of got it cheaper if I was prepared to wait the two weeks from somewhere else.

what diameter is the autometer gauge? and the standard ones down by the ash tray?

The autometer come in 2 sizes - mine is the smaller one 2.25 inch and I think Sal's is 2.5inch - see pic of sals earlier in thread.

hello , Josh-stateside , How did you make to put a white zone ? Because it is well a pressure gauge VDO in the beginning graduated from 0 to 3 bar. Because I succeeded has to have a pressure gauge of this type but with black bottom and I am not able to dismount it, I am afraid to break it .. Thank you for your answer ...

In the meantime I bought one of the cheapies from the Renault 5 guys anyway, complete with pod. Arrived, well packaged, in 2 days flat, impressive service. I'll try it out on the UR as the S2 is till without ECU..
