  • "OEM" look headunit

What options are there for a high sound quality headuint that has fairly OEM looks.

The Becker 7992 looks great and, but can't seem to find one for love nor money. Do they even still make them?

Are there any other options worth considering?

I have a Parrot Asteroid single din unit in my A6(C4).
It runs android & can still be a little glitchy (even with the latest firmware) but sound quality is top notch, hands free excellent & you can connect ext hd, sd cards etc for music.
I'll post up a pic when I'm at my pc.
A lot of people think that it is actually oem!

Yeah dont think you can get a becker new anymore - but I have becker grand prix, with red illumination - looks completely oem, and has bluetooth phone, ipod + mp3 cd compatibility - can't really ask for more.

There really is nothing looks as OEM as a becker, there just isn't!

              Quick photo as promised.
Display looks a little bright in this shot, but can be customised.
I think that they're in the region of €300 incl vat.

Those Becker units are nice too.
I considered one before this purchase, but I think this is a better all rounder, and compared with the other fare available, it doesn't light up like a christmas tree!

I think that this wouldn't look bad:

                      http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_fr...=seat+alana+cd

It is simple but I think it is good value for money.
I have an OEM Audi Concert II that I would like to use, but it is wider than a normal hear unit and would need adapting.

                      Cheers.

Alex, some of my mates in the Ford world (sorry ) get their old units gutted and fitted with new internals that play MP3/IPods etc

would this be something you`d think about?

i can enquire on who, how much etc if you wanted?

Zoig, that looks a cracking unit doesnt it!

I will be fitting an Audi Concert into my Limo i think

                            Cheers, Sean
