In answer to the recent questions:

It is a 10" Kenwood Sub.

It sounds great IMO, but of course that is also dependent on Amp used and its correct set up.

No there, is no spare wheel. I carry an RAC card and tyre weld...

Steve, what dimentions are your 10" box mate? I'm after a ported one for my Rockford sub. Are any of the ones on ebay any good, like this one..LINK

Chris, more importantly - what size box is recommended for your Rockford sub. You need to pick a box that suits its parameters, which will be on listed in the instruction manual for the sub on or on the box the sub came in. If you have not got either of these then you will need to do a search on the internet for the model of Rockford sub and find out.

Then you can choose either a ported box or a sealed box. A ported box will generally be a little larger than a sealed box.

From memory I think my box is 14 litres for my 10" Kenwood sub. (The box is sealed).

P.S. The one in the link does not look to bad, but if you are going to get a ported one you MAY need to check the ports compatibility with the music type you are looking to play as different port types are tuned for different frequency responses and therefore different types of music....

Looks great! Although I was just wondering whether it would be possible to have the speaker facing upwards from the spare wheel well, with a grille over it, flush with the rest of the boot line? If you get me! Would give you more storage space as I find the spare wheel takes up so much room!

Anything is possible, but I guess it is going to be dependent on the volume required for your particular sub, there may or may not be enough room beneath it....

Nice build, I was thinking of doing something similar myself
I just need to fit 12" Phase Linear ALIANTE.
However how large is your bass box? Cuz I think my volume has to be around 30L, so not sure if i can make a box that will be big enough.
