  • Not happy with KW v1

Hi folks, happy new year and new suspen ?

From the first time, I commented here that I'm very unhappy about my v1 KW inox
Bought v1 for a RS2 and installed on my S2 avant with wrecking ball.

I use too quite my car. Around 1.500kms at year; and only with 3 years the springs goes down and down. And must up the screws around 2 fingers to has the same distance like last years.??‍♂️

Why that, last year (with 6 years with this KW) I decided desinstall the wrecking and the rear upped 2cm? (I think it's not normal, okay the wrecking is heavy like a iron bar, around 20 kilos or... But...)

Now the rear suspension has the screws on top, but the distance between the wheels and the wings is only, ONLY 2 fingers.?
And the front screws are quite talls, around in the middle of the dampers. And the distance between the two (wheel and wing) is 1cm only. Must readjust front suspension again ??‍♂️.

    So...
    New year, new suspension!?
I'm tooooo tired with this ****.
Yesterday run little bit harded on a mountain road, and the rebunds are to much and to big. You can't drive fast on this situation ? I hit my head on the sun roof ?

    Weeell...
    My options:
    - new stiffer springs for this KW V1
    - new KW V3
    - BC racing one? ?
    - H&R? - Bilstein? - Eibach?

Ps. Excuse me for the lines but I had to tell it.

    Do you have poly bushes?

Have they seized? Need to be dismantled and greased?

          Seize?? Can't understand the meaning

Ps. Arb bushes are too from powerflex. And are oiled too, with a silicone spray.

            Hi one more time hahahaha
I use very poorly my car and the problem of the suspen affect me only few days at year.

I lift the car and found my problems:
The springs are "brokens" IMG_20220326_182813_063.jpg IMG_20220326_182822_292.jpg KW Germany said maybe the problem will be low usage and the solution is a replacement of them.
            85€ x4 + 50€ x2 (prebound springs) + shipping costs

I can't believe those springs can lowered so much on only 6/8 years and less than 15k kms.

            Ps. VERY DISAPPOINTED with KW

You may want to look at a different manufacturer of springs, give them corner weight and diameter and they should be able to match them up for you.

                  The problems are two:

                  Where buy a correct spring
                  MOT

But... I thinking about it: buy somewhere on Europa and repaint them like OE KW ones

The are completely smashed but other springs are lowered too.
think on rear sode haven't those little springs and the car goes down too.
Now the nuts are on the top side of the threats and the car is quite low, only 2 fingers between the wheel and the wing

                      Hi dudes!

One friend said me that I can install some cheap springs from Faulkner
                      https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/s...s-race-springs

                      But...
I can't found the correct measures of my S2's KW v1 springs on the Forum.

KW's are over rated IMO, sure they work well but like most things these days they are not built to last.

I'd go with the BC kit, look pretty well made to me.

I just think the same. Inmo KW etc. Are obsoleted.
