Car is back, confirmed I was an idiot putting copper washers on the banjo. I'll whip them off, hopefully that's it sorted!

Confused... Etka calls them orings. Search the number, they're washers...

I'm pretty sure they're supposed to be alloy crush washers either side of the banjo bolt.... Etka is translated from German so is riddled with errors when it comes to the correct English terms for items, though I'm surprised it doesn't simply call them 'washers'.

For some hidraulic lines with banjo end fittings, there is I think some version that actually used o-rings. There is a groove for the ring in the fitting. I don't actually know which cars had this but if you search those p/n a rubber o ring does show.

I think I have it fixed... Took me all of 9 minutes.

The pulley bolts had wound off every so slightly. Doh!

            Loctite and retorque. Job done.

I once convinced myself I had a really bad CV joint… even got my mate to ride in the back of the car to check which side… turned out the wheel bolts were loose, nice quick roadside fix though
