My Bentley says '40nm then a further 1/4 turn with the vehicle on the ground'.
WHAT type of rear bushes should i go for?

Thanks
Noticing that there is movement between the bolt shank and the sleeve in the bush, enough for there to be some movement which is odd, it was enough to fail the front driverside bush nearest the footwell.
could it just be a slightly inferior size shank on the bolt for the size it should be or something else??????
Cheers

anyone noticed that with the powerflex wishbone bushes its impossible to get the nylon washers that they supply in both sides? i could ony manage to get one on the inside of each one, not on the outside! they seemed fine although i fear they may squeak! i did mine to 40 + 1/4 turn aswell! - what a **** it is to get under and get a spanner inside the frame with the car on the ground tho, had to do it whilst car was on a high kerb, no chance of doing it on flat ground!Comment

It was me who wrote that page and that is for the front bushes. If you check the table carefully you'll see it states 40 Nm + 180 degrees.i read this off of http://www.s2-audi.co.uk/tech_articl...sh_replace.htm
theres a table at bottom of the page!
you sure your not thinking of subframes?
The rears are 70 Nm + 90 degrees which is linked here
