Basically the Mount savers are inserts that clear the bushing and sit inside the upper bearing cup on the oem Boge strut mounts to increase the contact area. The 034 mounts are manufactured with the increased contact area from the beginning, essentially a "cast in" mount saver...

Mance did alot of bench failure testing on the stock style mounts as part of developing the mount savers - settled on the dealer Boges as being the longest lasting and designed the mount savers to fit within the profile of the Boges...

As far as I know know one has failure tested the 034s side by side with the Boges.

Got my 034 ones through from Joe @ Axis motorsport. They look beefier which is good, looking forward to fitting them and the freshly powdercoated H&Rs. Looking at about ÂŁ20-ÂŁ25 each for them delivered as I got stung for charges and VAT. .

Be interesting to hear how they compare to stock mounts Andy - i've just had new subframe and wishbone polybushes up front, resulting in massively improved feel, stability and compusure - will be going with Track density mounts in the near future, hoping for better turn-in and steering response coupled with new track rod ends

Sounds cool andy, so do these work in conjunction with normal blue/green topmounts or something seperate.

Gotta get around to fitting all this soon, a rs2 farb turned up in my boot earlier brand new so I think I should get that fitted especially considering how much it weighs.

They're sort of the same as the stock mounts but with more rubber to make them better. Price delivered from the USA was not much more than some blues.

I've got the track mounted ones to cope with the extra weight up front

Still on the back of mine and I've not noticed any issues there. S2driverUK had them on the front of his S2 and I don't think they lasted any better than stock. quattro corner sell the same sort of thing (Meyle HD). They're not harsh as they're still rubber. HTH

The Meyle HD ones are holding up pretty well on my coupe, at least taking a lot of kerb at Oulton hasn't immediately f**ked them like OEMs
