Yep, i looked into that but it's so expensive for 4 heim joints (decent ones anyway)

Looks like i have no choice though

Just thought i'd update this. I recieved the 034 front tie rods a while back, but there was a small problem with the thread on one of the rods so had to send it back to 034. They've sorted this now so should have these back/installed soon.

The heim joints are quite sexual, so small threading issue aside i'm quite impressed and looking forward to fitting them

Haven't fit them yet but will update. I believe the rods are custom made so they could put a bigger kink in there for you if you wish. Mine are completely straight, no turbo.

Have finally fitted these today. First impressions are steering is more responsive. Though there doesn't seem to be any more feel, haven't driven very hard though.

I think the trackday in Feb will reveal more.

Yep got the tracking sorted straight afterwards.

It's difficult to tell because i'm on my spongy everyday 15" wheels and tyres, but i'm sure there is a much quicker response to steering input. Usually there is a small "lag" in the steering. Now it's lightning quick. However the steering "feels" the same, given that i just went for a little blast on the local roads. I'm sure that when I start pushing harder I'll notice a difference then.

                Definately an improvement though

Really want to do the same on the rear!

Thank You! I will order 1 set for me!
The only down side off these i can see is that all the vibrations will be transfered directly to the steering gear.
Dont know how much this will affect.... but....better then 100 euro for 1 at Audi.
                  All the best!

Good to hear they have made an improvement Al, i know exactly what you mean about the "lag" in the steering - feels nasty.

These people list the bushing 431-419-809 as a replacement part. You may want to give them a ring.

Found a polyurethane bush company at the Autosport show who might help with this. They said that at the very least they could give me a bush that was close, and show me how to machine it down to the correct size.

They gave me a sheet to fill in dimensions and send off to them, so will get that sorted then update.

Interested in some poly bushes if you have those made.
Polyurethane can be machined, I've done some myself. You just need an extremely sharp tool to cut the poly, as it flexes and bends away when applied force. I guess that harder the material, the easier it would be to machine. Freezing it can also help, but I guess it doesn't stay frozen for long because of the heat generated in the machining process.

This company specialises in providing materials that are easy to machine yourself. I don't know exactly what this will mean, but it's definately progress.

The company is called Super Pro. website is here.

That's interesting. 2 companies in Somerset 12 miles apart both being European distributors for Fulcrum Suspensions's polyurethane products.
