bilstein and h&r´s where to buy?

hi, i have been looking around for coilovers but i must strip my old and send them to germany and wait a looong time.

so ive read that bilstein shocks with h&r springs would be the best? (after coilovers?)

    where do i buy this?
the rs2 springs are diffrent(harder) than s2 or?

    cheers!

the 2 bennet coilovers, how are them? must i send in the cores?

I would go for the H&R CUp Kit and has the bilstein dampers and H&R 50/50 lowering springs.

I bought mine from www.reinekeshop.de I paid 720 euro inlcuding tax and shipping to Denmark.

Then dont list the kit on their site but send them and email and you should be good to go.

Just noticed that you have an RS2, I'm not sure if the cup kit actually fits the Avant.

Is the H & R Cup kit harder or softer than any other H & R kit?

Do H & R, ( or anyone else ), do a spring kit that has the ride comfort of the standard springs, but is say 30/40 or even 50mm lower?

I'm looking for standard spring comfort but with lower ride height springs for aesthetic reasons.

Is there such a kit with coilovers?

My car is an ABY Avant btw.

          Thanks.

Coil Springs Direct the only supplier of Original Entex Stock Springs. For all your spring enquiries & to take full advantage of our expertise, contact us now.

they can make you custom springs, ie 30mm drop but stock rate or no drop but 30% stiffer ete

there was agroup buy on the quattroforum, i got some for my 90 and they seem good, but there was a issue with spring length, so might be recommendable to specify to coil spring what you need free length to be, ie about 2" min the distance from the top and bottom seat of your suspension . to maintain preload sudden be a problem if your using up-rated shocks i think was decided i think as they tend to be shorter

can you explain a bit more the part about the preload?I have an S2 avant suspension and im thinking of sending them the whole thing so they can use to make either some lower springs or some modified coilovers on that suspension. Will they need any other info except the amount of drop i would like the car to have? For example if i ask for a 15mm drop with OEM spring rate, can that be done and still the car have the proper bump stops, and no other problems?Should the springs be progressive?

Hi I had H&R's fitted on ABY Coupe 3 years ago. I paid AUD $800 deposit. They used some that they had and I sent off my OEM shocks once I'd fitted the H&R's. Have you asked if they still offer that service?
                        Cheers
