    I did some rough sums in S2Driver's thread about a group buy to guess the torque due to eccentricity, this will need some more thought to ensure that on a car where the bolts aren't torqued every week they fdon't come loose.

      just a thought, could the use of a thinner mineral oil be the answer?? i'm only up to about page 4 on s2drivers link but it looks like the power assisted part is just a big piston filled with preasurised fluif on each side, from what i can see the lack of feel could be due to the damping effect of the fluid moving round the piston, so thinner oil would reduce this and add a bit of weight to the steering, although i realise many do not want the added weight.
