Sorry Jones, not a kit I have ever heard anybody say anything about!! I know it exists, but never heard anything said about it. Sorry mate...
Damn,
Well i can get yellow koni dampers and red springs for almost the same price. But cant seem to find any info on the koni's. I dont want a suspension that is to hard.
I am torn between KW type 3 and H+R as you have now. My 'problems' are:
Problem 1:
KW type 3 are extremely expensive, way too much money!!! (about 1900 Euros in the UK)
H+R are much cheaper @ 811 Euro's you say.
Winner is H+R
Problem 2:
H+R shocks are not adjustable at all
KW are adjustable bound and rebound
Winner is KW
Problem 3:
My S2 Avant is 150 kilos lighter than a standard S2 so I really could do with the adjustable shocks to take into account the less weight and give me a means to adjust damping due to less weight.
My concern is H+R not being adjustable may be VERY hard on my light weight Avant and if they are not adjustable, then I am stuck forever with harsh shocks.
After reading the posts above, I'm suprised that the KW's are said to be very hard! (on a standard weight S2 Avant) and you say your H+R's ride good. I am now thinking that the adjustable KW are just not worth the WAY greater price. Do you ever consider your H+R's to be hard?
Good answer RIX about jumping all over the road, that is exactly what I do not want!! My S2 is 150 lighter than it used to be as I have removed a lot of weight from the car which is why I am looking for experience with KW and H+R shocks from people who use them. I know how to set up shocks, but before I commit to buying, always best to ask what other people think of them.
