245/40-17 is a big tyre for an S2, I have 235/35-18s on my coupe and there's not much clearance. This is on S8 mk1 Avus with 15mm spacers.

They were what was on the car when I bought only michelin's that had cracked they had been on so long.
I know you lot hate stretched tyres but had I not just bought new rubber i would have gone for a stretch to get clearence.

Anyway I have just ordered some 6mm FK automotive spacers for front and rear axle. I have gone for the ones that fit mk5 golf etc. Think it's 5x112 centre bore 57.1 is that right? Flaming hope so.
Kind of wish It had original wheel but the boleros modernise the car in my opinion.

Cheers Mate. Its off road getting bumpers resprayed and i'm redoing roof lining. Cant wait to have a go with new set up though.
