    Interesting thread

The idea of this thread is to find out if there's an option for upgrading the rear lower control arm front mount on T44 and C4 cars... Specifically 20v turbo and manual V8 models that can beat replacement bushings out in short order. If there isn't an option I want to brainstorm a fix. Most of...

    So I ordered these

Did your parts arrive ok? How'd they look? I'm about to order some track rods.

Yep came within a few days or ordering. Looks like good stuff, the bottom arms came with new nuts and sleeves washers etc. . Waiting on some Audi only bits before I fit it all.

Just an update. I fitted all new kit to the front. Inc solid subframe mounts. I reset the alignment to toe strait ahead, and 1 degree negative camber. The quality or the parts is great. I found I had a slightly loose ball joint and track rod end. Some small play, but not much. Also the front subframe bushes were very soft. Also there was a tiny clunk/play in the rack, so I tightned the pretensioner slightly and its tight again.

The car feels great at the front now. I can feel the rear wandering slightly, so I must gather up the time to change all the back stuff.

I can definitely recommend getting parts from http://homepage.internet.lu/customau..._S6_S6PLUS.htm

Will let you know how it feels with the rear done too.

            Cheers des

another update. while doing the rear I came across a rusty, then leaking fuel tank. so I had to get a replacement and therefore I had time to replace the brake cables and I painted all the parts. Will be running again soon. so check your tank out... also the spax dampers in the rear are height adjustable. top work from spax!
