Hardware arrived today, so these are now ready to be fitted! Here's the pictures of what goes in to them and various stages of undress

    Front mount assembled:-

    Rear mount assembled:-

Underside showing bearing retaining screws (the bearings are heat fitted in place, so these do absolutely nothing tbh):-

Nitrile O ring to increase friction when fitting:-

    Front mount nearly naked:-

    Rear mount nearly naked:-

I have a few ideas for design evolution and want to design a cap for the rear and maybe front ones too. There is the option of a simple rubber blanking grommet for a fraction of the price but that wouldn't look too pimp I'm also hoping to design a front top plate that interacts with the strut brace mounts as an anti-rotation feature

Wow very nice! Congratulations on these coming to fruition they look awesome

I might be interested in a rear set, possible a front set if you figure a bar bracket in the front with more castor.

No, not sure when they will be as things here are busy and are only going to get busier.

Got the rear brake upgrade to fit too... And a window mech to rebuild and door cards to refit and subframe bushes to fit... Oh, and if course an engine to dismantle Need a garage really.

Looking really good. ill probably get a set of these off you at somepoint. I guess the rear ones would fit the front allowing me to fit a strut brace to my typ85 car and the front fit the rear as the typ85 doesnt need a rear brace?

I'll design a front strut cap. For ease of fitting, I think 1 bolt per side would do it, otherwise, you've got to get the angles spot on...

Oh, and bear in mind that the bearings are about £80 a pair...

I'm interested in both a front and rear set. Don't need the rear strut mount as I already have a rear strut brace. No problem using the original strut brace in front?

Sorry chaps, work and family commitments have made getting things fitted any time soon rather tricky. Will do my best though...
