    As for me, no dramas on the was home other than running the fuel gauge sooo far below the red that the computer gave up screaming 'E' at me and after 40 miles simply said 'long walk'

    After having passed 2 Texaco stations but refusing to put more 95Ron in after haing to run the track sessions on Texaco **** water from the garage local to the track, I finally stopped at the next station...another b10ddy Texaco only to discover it had 97Ron unleaded as well. So why does the local CC Texaco not sell it

    @ 'other Ross' I hope you got home OK matey. Let us know what the diagnosis is and hope you get it back and running soon

    Cheers n

    That's confusing? Assuming that we are talking about the same garage (the one that used to be a Shell) I filled up there 3 times with 2 cars on Saturday and they had the 97 RON super unleaded?

    We talking about a different 'local' garage maybe?

      God I hope so, coz if the one I used had 97RON, I'll kick myself for making my poor car drink 95 all day

        i made it ok ... just before i parked the car tho i reversed and accidently scuffed my front right alloy!!!

        i did see ross tho who broke down ... he was in the back of a AA van ... i waved at him for a bit then boosted off ...

        PS: BO your guages are wicked .. had probs wit the computer leds ... u have to fit them in reverse to each other .. then i broke one .. so had to use one red .. so blue one comes on when lights are on

          Damn i wish i'd been able to make down to CC but work got in the way. Never mind i'll finally get to meet some of you next weekend at the RR day. Just thought this might be of interest to someone after seeing this thread, I pulled it off the March staff communications at work, it was a clarification of the terms:

          ‘The AA will not provide service where this is requested in regard to a vehicle which requires service by reason of, or immediately following, participation in any racing, rallying, trials or time-trials, auto test or other motor sports event ("a Motor Sports Event"). However, for the avoidance of doubt, the AA does not consider the following activities to be Motor Sports Events, and thus will provide service to a participating vehicle if properly requested:

          "Concours d'elegance" events;
          Track test days for road-legal vehicles;
          Rallies held exclusively on open public highways where participants are required to comply with all operative speed limits.’

          So basically your covered by the AA for track days as long as your vehicle is road legal, I think this came about because we'd had a number of queries from classic car clubs who have group accounts with us.

          Here's hoping the next day doesn't have as many casualties

          H&R springs,
          18" RS6 reps in anthracite.
          150K and running great
