Making the pushrod longer probably means it MAY bend slightly, causing the non-return problem.

@Fahemo
Did you purchase this flywheel as a RS2 kit together with the spec clutch package,or did you by a 3B FW kit?
I purchased a RS2 "package" including FW and spec clutch from Javad which according to him I should not have to remove the spacer on the tranny.
I havent put it on yet so I dont know if it fits, but it should be ok.The whole idea behind bying this one was so I didn't have to remove the spacer and screw around with clutch slave cylinder.
If you remove the spacer you will have to move the engine further back as well.I dont know if it is enough play in the engine mounts for this but I am sure people on her knows this.
It's laying here so if you want some measurments I can do.Just tell me what you need.

When i purchased the Kit from him i mentioned thats its for an ABY, but i'm not sure what kit i recieved.
Javad mentioned to me that the spacer has got to go.
Clutch is working now, just the return of the pedal is very slow.
I'm using and extra spring to get the pedal up for the moment.

Did you take the box off and remove the spacer in the end ?Originally posted by FaheemoWhen i purchased the Kit from him i mentioned thats its for an ABY, but i'm not sure what kit i recieved.

Pedal feel is still not up to scratch tho.

I also get a slight Vibration from the engine compartment when engine is revved above 3.5k. ( Clutch in or out) This wasnt ther b4 the fly and clutch was changed.
I've also got 034 Gearbox mounts that tend to let more noise into the cabin.
Should i be worried about the vibration which feels as if the engine is slightly out of balance ?

How is your pedal resistance now compared to the stock clutch ? Is it heavier or lighter when depressing the pedal ?
Do you have the partnumbers for the items you received ?Comment

Personally and this is just my two pence worth, it ssems like you have gone to a lot of trouble trying to "bodge" this up, wouldnt it have been easier just to remove the bolts and prop slide the box back and drop the spacer. I have done a lot of these boxes and I accept they are a pain but ultimatly I think it would be the better option. The sooner you start the sooner its done.Comment

Faheemo, Was the 034 flywheel used when the engine balanced ?Originally posted by FaheemoI also get a slight Vibration from the engine compartment when engine is revved above 3.5k. ( Clutch in or out) This wasnt ther b4 the fly and clutch was changed.

I''m starting to think the same .... Well lotsa people in the know said it will work with a longer slave pushrod, but doesnt seem optimal.Originally posted by CHENPersonally and this is just my two pence worth, it ssems like you have gone to a lot of trouble trying to "bodge" this up, wouldnt it have been easier just to remove the bolts and prop slide the box back and drop the spacer.
