034 flywheel on ABY S2

This sounds utterly odd. As we`ve discussed preaviously I`ve had some of the same problems my self. In my case it was the combination of Audi`s strive to reduce pedal effort combined with Spec`s strive to reduce pedal effort wich led to a non-returning pedal. I.E. Audi has a different master and pedal-spring assist system to reduce pedal effort while Spec has a custom design to reduce pedal effort incorporated into their products. The combination of the two makes for a clutch wich does not return. My solution was simply upgrading to a dual diaphragm pressureplate from spec, a so called superclamp option. In my case a stage 5 with superclamp option. So far the clutch has performed well both on the track and on the dyno. I`m currently running more than 500ft crank without slippage.Any updates on this issue Quattro Fever ?
I am absolutely fed up with the 034 flywheel setup, i have tried everything anybody has suggested, pulled the box out and on about 4 times already ! and problem hasnt gone away.
New slave , new master , upgraded to dual diafram spec pressure plate , upgraded to spec 5 clutch , bled up , bled down , knuckles bled alot also , and i still have a clutch pedal that is light, will not return and slips when 400ft of torque is applied !
Anybody has a proven clutch and flywheel setup other than a Spec on a ABY S2 that will hold more than 400ft - 500ft torque and about 600hp ?
If you still can`t figure out whats wrong send me a PM and I`ll give you my phonenumber if you`d like to discuss this issue.Comment

As far as i'm concerned if spec dunno ther products they should take responsibility.
We the customer must suffer at the end of the day if spec didnt realise the error in making a too soft pressure plate !
Well i purchased a flywheel setup , 2 pressure plates and 2 clutches from 034 , None work !
The Dual Diafram pressure plate didnt even return the clutch pedal , although it is a B1tch to press.
All it did was to bend my Master Cylinder push rod and then eventually, i think the dual pressure was too much for itself , it broke the diafram retainers.Attached Files

Remember all of this cost me about GBP1000 in total.
Shipping , labour stripping the gearbox , and the parts + brakefluid.
After all of this i am much poorer and still dont have a working car.
034 refunded me for the broken pressure plate, but not willing to refund anything more.
Putting back the dual mass flywheel and maybe building a better clutch to go with it.
hmmm that will cost me again.... BEWARE WHAT YOU BUY ... A VERY EXPENSIVE LESSON ive learnt.Attached Files

This non-returning clutchpedal has been an issue in several projects using Spec clutches.
We have PO-metal CrMo flywheel and Sasch SRE combo in stock with solid 4-puck clutchplate, that works for up to ~800Nm with no problem. You need to take off the shim between the tranny and motor with those as well, but never ever had an issue with pedal sticking.Everything less than 2 bar is considered to be naturally aspiratedComment
