Fit a hose clamp on the hose from the reservoir to the MC to reduce fluid loss. I used an old rag to catch the contents of the hose inside the car. removing the clevis is simple enough and then there is only 2 allen key headed bolts to remove. Don't cross thread them when you refit

You need either some long allen keys or allen sockets on 1/4" extensions to get to the bolts easily -there are cut outs in the pedal box casting to allow you to get to them

I just used the plastic bag over the reservoir and refit cap method to stop the fluid spill, works fine.

Bit worrying, our bike mechanic who's helping me swap the cylinder just ask how do we get to the side under the bonnet it's impossible while he points to the steering rack

Hurray got home without any issues, next job strip out the wrecked old carpet and fit the one I've had in the loft a year
The spring inside the master cylinder had snapped and ripped the seals apart, pics to follow
