Hi mate, thanks for the read!
Is it correct that you have an AAN engine in your S2 Coupe? If so, which engine bracket did you use?Comment

Received my RS2/S2 engine brackets after 23 days on a 7-10 DHL service which I paid a lot of money for! Missed my timeline and wasn't able to get the engine mounted. However this will allow me time next year not to rush the mounting as I still think I need more parts to make this correct.
Specifically RS2 engine mount rubbers, parts 8A0199382D & 8A0199382. As you can see from the pictures the latest progress, engine mount rubbers from C4 S4 part 443199379D doesn't look quite right, it's close. I'm hoping the offset RS2 rubber mount will sort this out.
The left hand side bracket needs some trimming still as I don't have the factory 5 cylinder notch in the chassis rail.
Right hand side (please ignore the screw holding the rubber together, this is only for placement

Hey everyone, I've done a lot of work on the car over the last year and a half since my last update. I would go as far as to say everything is 'complete' except for that of the flywheel and clutch, which when I purchase and test fit I will have an update for you in that area. But for now here are pictures that should sum up the rest of the conversion!
Some detailed pictures of the chassis brackets being welded on, thanks to the correct engine mount rubbers being fitted.

In hindsight, the only thing I wish I would have thought of before welding these on is accounting for the weight sag of the engine. I tacked them in at height connected to the engine and gearbox on an engine hoist therefore no actual weight on the rubber to set the correct height. I will have approx 5-8mm thick washers made up to sit in between the engine mount rubbers and the engine block brackets as the sump sits very close to the crossmember

Some pictures of the driveshaft hanger bearing mount points being modified to fit the B5 driveshaft. This was probably the hardest task of the conversion as it took some thinking, testing and readjusting to check the drive line angles in spec.
Removal of the factory mounting points, a slight modification to the brackets to suit the new hanger bearing mount, placement, welding, fitting of the B5 driveshaft and some trimming to the exhaust heat shields to make everything look tidy.

Some pictures of the B5 shifter box being installed into the B4, it was necessary to remove the captive nuts from the the inside of the B4 gearbox tunnel. I used an air powered finger belt sander and cleaned up the mess with a vacuum cleaner.

Until next time... Happy 6-speeding everyone!
Bonus content = fitting the B5 S4 exhaust system after a few modifications to the mounting points and the employment of a Nissan R32 Skyline rubber exhaust hanger I had kicking about my garage!

Hi mate!
Yes, planning to go through cert when she's all up and running. I've purchased a couple sets of new genuine engine mounts, but yet to fit.
I'm on Vask too, under the same user name as I use here. I used to post there a bit, back when I owned my UrS6.Comment
