    Spec Clutches, Slipping No Warranty

SPEC CLUTCHES SLIPPING NO WARRANTY, posting this because 2 SPEC clutches filed in less than 4K, not cowered by MF, plus Josh was very rood and unhelpful. Trying sell me another clutch saying this one should work. Im alset with them, I tried two stage3 and stage 3 plus they both filed under SPEC provided specs. Stage 3 failed at 330 WTQ, 3 Plus 463WTQ.
Is any one else experience this ????
My friend Alex Wentworth( Couple of his cars has bean in a eurotuner) stopped using SPEC because they product was failing and they didn’t stand behind.

Iv got a stage 3 rated to 400bhp or 450bhp i think and only running 300bhp, the uptake is very jurkey/vibration and it has sliped once in the dry with a hard change from 2nd to 3rd, but apart from that no major broblems.

    2,500k in miles!
Probably the longet S2 project in history EVER!

Are you sure, that your flywheel wear allows you to use ceramic clutch? From what I've discovered, that if pressure is too low on ceramic/sinter, then it will slip and glue to pressure plate or flywheel. At least local "wizards" say this, and offer flywheel/pressure plate "matching service" what is actually machining (and balancing) flywheel "outer ring" according to the clutch needs.

i use a ceramic disk from cluch net with a sachs pressure plate and i got no problems.

And i my frend is usin a spec ceramic cluch and his vluch is slipping but he have 690hp.

difrrence between the sachs pressureplate and the spec plate is that its nit hard like the sachs when you press the cluch.

I ran a Spec stage 3 in my car for a while, no slipping that I noticed but it was very jerky and made horrible screeching noises, It would seem to be ok then suddenly grab so I'd be stalling the car in traffic. I replaced it with a Stage 3+ which so far has been great, still bites hard but more progressive and no nasty noises or juddering (actually it will sometimes judder if you try to pull away really slowly at low rpm)
My mate has a Clutchnet paddle in his RS4 and IMHO its almost undriveable. It felt like "My first driving lesson" when I drove it the other day. Very embarrassing
I have a Sachs competion clutch in the ur and its brilliant, a little heavier on the pedal but otherwise you'd never know..

I am also using the Sachs race spec organic clutch. So far no issues, but will see how it holds up to the new set-up. The pedal is 'a little hard' as John says, but I have got used to it now.

What does 467WTQ convert to the flywheel?

My 3 plus spec clutch didnt last much longer as well, for the record 034 did refund me for it - when i bought a spec 5 but then ther was the issue of the whole clutch kit being incorrect/not suitable which i did NOT get any compensation for.

034 rs4 clutch kit, what supposed to hold 500hp. Only chipped rs4, slipped from day one. Spec said it is overheated! Yeah right, it didn' t hold power from day one, even after 2000km correct break in!

I had also in my s2 stage 3, witch failed (slipped) after gt30r install and 2bar of boost.
