I'm not frightened by the space required as much as the electronics. It's way down in my busy schedule so dont expect me to waste time just to prove to you a point.

Also as I told you the POLO is also a true car done without the use of torque. I'll speak to the tuner who owns it for you. But I wont report back. I see no point
And I can see out of my ****. Thanks for confirming that you don't know anything.

Seriously though, why? These boxes weigh a **** ton and would ruin the character of the car. I would buy an RS3 it will be probably be cheaper too
If you make it fit in there somehow, I can make it run SW wise. Needs a 07K ECU and trigger setup. Maybe easier to use a 07K engine in the first place with it's ECU.
Though as you said, I don't see the point, the DL501 is quite heavy.

I guess a torque based platform like Motec M1 could work with the right knowledge of the TCU’s CAN requirements?

Ecumaster has an experimental can stream for it, and while it sort of works it shifts like utter crap because there is no proper torque interface in the ECU for intervention, also the reported torque is all over the place, so clutch torque in DSG is totally wrong etc.
I mean you can do pretty much anything on new Motec, as you can essentially make your own firmware using their designer.
But I think just using a 07K ECU might be much easier... and cheaper, since it already comes with the engine and has native can stream, which the 0B5 should eat.

I am unsure whether the 0B5 has immo or not. The MQB DQ250 does.

There is a big difference using it for a drag race car on WOT only, or actually trying to drive with it.
