  • Rear diff mount bush

    Hello!

I am going to replace bush for rear diff mount.
I noticed that the new bush I bought is not centerd like the old
    one..

So, what is the right way to press it in?

I replaced mine with the same bush pictured. The knackered one removed had a centered hole.

The subframe bolt hole was like a long kidney slot and i pressed it in as per the bottom right picture.

Would be good to get some more answers on it.

            Bottom left normally.

There should be an arrow on the bush indicating direction of travel

Waste of time, it's too weak. Lasted one vacation in small mountains on my car.

I liked this better: Nissan 54476-10V02 (or replacements). It contingently fits coupe diff. Some mods needed.

I'm looking to replace this bush again as went from a Febi, which like you say is just to soft, to a powerflex which i'm not liking due to the increased vibration. Whats mods are needed to the Nissan one? Cheers

Needs a sleeve putting in I believe. I have one here but not got around to it yet

Hey. A sleeve between the bolt and the inner bonded bush? I wonder has anyone drilled more holes in the powerflex bush to soften it up a bit. Might try that to see how it works out.

Diameters difference is very small. I put a small drop of welding onto the bushing sleeve so that it would fit tight into the mount.
