Spec stage 3+ or Sachs Performace Kit ?

The Sachs Disk has not springs, and maybe switching speed will be brutal . I used Sachs Performance Kit on my Astra H opc 330 Hp and after 15.000 km the pressure plate died. I used the car only on street and with few launches.

What is your power target? Sachs SRE pressure plate with 4-puch sinter disc works fine. You can also get discs with sprins, no problem. SRE clutch will propably be the best you can get before going to twin- or triple disc clutches.

On SachsPerformance website the SRE disk supports only 520 NM . In my setup with gt3076 500+ hp probably the torque will be higher. The 4 puck disk is to agressive for daily driving.

From my research I'd avoid Spec.

        Have you considered Southbend?

Don't know the max. torque supported by Sachs. They say here 520 Nm +

I'm using the SRE 4 puck job. It is agressive but it's holding my 700nm torque from the stroker fine once ran in.

I will use 3b flywheel. The SRE normal disk with 520 NM is at limit.

Interesting! Most on this side of the pond say the opposite when comparing to Spec. And if there ever is an issue, the hassle free warranty process always garners hefty praise.

To my knowledge, SB uses a modified Sachs pp and their own friction materials on the disc.

Yes that's right - the friction plate and the material was the problem I had within only a few thousand miles of road use, and within torque rating.

The problem seemed to be very widely known from looking on other forums and the warranty was effectively worthless with the only option I was given to buy a new one at full price.

I'd avoid them at all costs - completely false economy and **** support / warranty.

                          This is less than 2 years and 4k use with 420bhp / 400ft-lb on a stage 3 endurance -
