SPEC 3+ works fine, but make sure the flywheel is OK/resurfaced and use the clutch without pushing it for a while to bed it in. Read the instructions, and follow them :-)

I think a twin plate clutch of about 8 inch in size with organic material and a pressure plate that holds 500 to 600 ftlb torque would be good for our cars. Should be smoother than a paddle single plate Sachs? There was a place in leeds I talked too who said the could supply something like that for testing....

Maybe in a normal driving , even SRE kit will hold 600 + Nm, but also the are the launches and agressive gearshifting.

Yep I agree with thuppu. I'm at 700nm on Sachs sre sintered. Holds fine even for fast starts but is agressive.

Have someone used Spec 3+ clutch disc with SRE 707 pressure plate?

Could it be used in your opinion? My SRE gave up last time yesterday at the dragstrip. Car used to have +750nm of torque. Billet blingfactory 3b flywheel should work also with that disc...

Did the Sachs sintered clutch wear out, or can't it hold the power? I doubt the spec clutch will hold power as well as the sre sintered.
