Top 3 Coupes for power could be Tom, Habib and Doug in the UK all well over 500BHP, with some 600BHP plus stuff in those mental Nordic regions

Top 3 Hearses could be Jamo (Oh no, his was actually about the same as a 1.1 Fiesta ), errr help me out here...oh BRY, he has a homefried hearse, oh and Ross, who plans to chuck his Coupe engine into his new hearse. Let's face it boys and girls, a fast hearse just scares the punters so it's pointless.

All serious sports car manufacturers make Coupes. Granted, several have tried Avants (Lotus, Lambo, Ferrari, Aston....all hideous machines and they all, and I mean ALL got laughed at. The acception here is of course Audi with the rather nice RS2, which we know was planned as a Coupe (I love that fact, shall we say it again...The RS2 was planned as a Coupe...yup, still love it) but they only did the Avant because Porsche were running scared.

So, the slipper brigade have taken to arms have they David....well, hold on whilst I get out my Hong Kong book of Lung Fu and read up how to protect myself from flying slippers and pipes ....Yup, is says kick their walking sticks away, shout in their hearing aids and then if they are still standing, switch off their pace-makers.

I have to agree we have drifted slightly off topic but it is only fair to let new owners understand which side of the battle line they are standing.

I am sure that you will have strengthened the resolve of the undertaker, sorry, I mean underdog Avant owner, to the point where they may actually believe that they are stronger.

But let me remind you, that as Darth Vader once famously pointed out "Don't be too proud of this technological hearse you've constructed. The ability to carry passengers is insignificant next to the power of the Coupe."

Being of the 'people carrier' hearse persuasion (URs4) I recon it breaks down as follows:-

UR = 2 door coupe. Seperate Boot. As it should be.

Avant = Understated weapon. Practical AND dangerous.:mischeif:

'Coupe' = 3 door hatchback; you know, a bit like those saxo/fiesta shopping-mobiles, only with more room for loo rolls!!!!

hello there and well you certainly choce the right idea in buying an avant ,,,,
the better weapon... and as for a coupe having the battery in the boot has no one ever told them electricity and water dont mix.. or maybe they did and thats why it ended up under the seat..

anyway i have a picture below from when i went on holiday last year ..
imagine how stupid she felt when she realised she had not caught a wave at all she had stupidly stood on what she thought was a surf board .. but turned out to be billys spoiler o the laughter could be heard for miles ,,,
