Sorry to hear about the bearing in the new engine, always a real cause of grief and expense.

Interested to know what the cause was in due course.

Is the main water radiator in the S2 position, or is it also the stock position on a 200 ?

Did the new radiator sort the cooling issue you were having before the engine ran the bearing ?

Any photos of the intercooler before fitting the front bumper ?

I presume you know that the centre caps for the Boleros are still available from the dealer ?

            Kind regards.

              200q

Hi just came across your build , looks great , interested to know if you sorted the high running temp on the water side?
i have a similar issue with mine , [20v 200q avant] new rad , thermostat and its still just below the fan cut in temperature, i was beginning to think the water pump was problematic , or does this rr/3b engine run hotter than the old 10v,
does the 3b aux rad make a difference?

                A little update.

                Engine and transmission.
After rodbearing disaster due to lack of oil:

                -New oilpump
                -Crank regrinded and polished,
                -New bearings
                -1x new rod
-Cooling fixed(fan running backwards) No problem with the cooling anymore.
                -Resurfaced flywheel
                -New Southebend clutch
                -Gearbox(shifter rebuilt and new oil)

                Front subframe.
                -New alu bushings
                -New polyurethan bushings(swaybar)
                -Repainted

Had a problem with the brakes was locking up. problem was solved by replacing the master sylinder.

Actually my brother driving back home from Honningsvåg (North Cape). We live in Tromsø. I bought the car in Oslo, back in fall 2004. I still have it, tho my brother had a little accident later that winter. But the car is live and kicking.
