Just made it home in the pub bus!
Had to pass a twwat in a focus on the last hill.
Didn't think I was going to make it! getting very deep here, frozen under the covering. Was wishing I had the UR out! That never gets stuck!
Hope everyone makes it! we have a forcast of 12 inches over night! bring it on!

Made it 225 miles down from Manchester to Reigate last night, and then 6 miles through the snow to work today. Here's the urS4 *after* I cleared the worst of the 6" of white stuff off.



Thanks to 4wd and the rear diff lock I was able to weave through the stuck cars below at the traffic lights. Didn't need to break the chains out though ... not today at least.

My diff lock isn't working which is really annoying! Almost got stuck on a hill.

AND going down the other side, lorry had stopped at the bottom blocking both lanes. I stopped plenty yards behind, hazards a flashing. Prof. TW8T in transit van comes down behind and decides to leave it till the last second to try and stop, only to find out he couldn't. Almost got sandwiched Had to quickly move on to the side of the road.

Well my day started at 4am this morning with about 3" on the ground got to Maida Vale(London) for around 9am
The bottom of the M1 looked like this.

Then i had to make my way through the cotwolds, Southcombe/Chipping Norton this is the road inbetween the two villages

Then i went upto Kirkby Mallory right next to the race track,after i'd been to Sutton Coldfield.


Got back to the M1 J22 and this is the slip road

Tell me about it. Some plonker was speeding up and slamming on his brakes to see how far he could skid, and on a snowy motor way too.
