yes I had to remove the old alarm system as it was playing up and flattening the battery. I discovered another alarm system which had been diconnected from the power but was still wired in, and a hands free kit which involved a second aerial which was drilled through the roof, so I had to take that out as well, which ended up taking most of the day.

The engine bay was so hanging, it was thick in oily sludge, I thought it would be worthwhile cleaning it so if anything went wrong I'd stand a chance of working on it more easily. how ironic

I dont see how i would have benefited by ringing alltypes as he doesn't seem to be a genuine registed motor trader and i didnt even get a receipt with the car. do you want to offer me my money back then? no? didnt think so

So that confirms that you ARE selling cars without giving your own genuine address.

Can I ask why you would not want to give your own?
My friend is a dealer and has stock valued at hundreds of thousands more than yours, and they are more than happy to give their address on autotrader.

Does your "friend" know you use his address?
Would they know what I was on about if I knocked on their door and asked about one that is for sale?

                    ok thats fair enough. what i can do is put the car back together with all the old bits i took off;

                    cracked head
                    blown head gasket
                    knackered turbo
                    faulty coilpacks
                    cracked n75 valve
                    leaking dv
                    faulty crank sensor
cracked and leaking after run pump
                    dead battery
                    faulty cd player
old alternator with snapped pivot lug
                    split throttle body hose

I think i have a couple of split vacuum pipes I can put back on too. I'll change the cam belt, water pump and tensoiner pulley back to the old ones.

If need be I can hack the wiring loom apart and put in a cheap sh1tty alarm system that doesn't work properly, with a load of crimp connectors and scotch locks too.

I'll trailor it back to winsor and you can give me four and a half thousand pounds back for it. Still no? why not? thats what i bought it with.

Slightly OT but whenever I see "nething" I think it says "nothing" ...but it's sort of the opposite really ...and it's only one letter shorter than actually typing "anything", so hardly a great saving of time for a great increase in confusion?
