I've been using mine to get out for the last couple of weeks, no way i'm going anywhere otherwise!
Had a close one yesterday, sliding backwards down a hill. If i crashed it, i hope i go out with it too because i wouldn't want to have to deal with the clean up
I may be able to save the headlight and just get the glass, ill have a look later.
Dose anybody have the part number for the glass
Going to fill and prime the bonnet later when the garage is warm.
I'm going to spray it satin black for the moment until funds/time allow me to get to the body shop.
Pics to follow.
I may even have a bumper sorted
I think i got away lightly as nothing major is broken or bent.
cheers

Just been out towing my dad out of a big pile of snow. And I couldn't have done it without the winter tyres. Its fun to drive where people can't, so personally I would not drive without the winter tyres. Where I live we got around 40 cm of snow yesterday and over the night.
Oh dear.. join the club, I got off lightly too really, get some self tappers and some ally sheet and screw the bumper back together and get back out there
no worries, just passing on my first hand experience there
Winter tyres are looking like a better investment all the time.
Winter tyres well worth the investment, proved today as Passat with 225 F1's meant slight incline = no go or slide backwards. A4 with narrower 195 Winter tyres = straight up without any problem. Had the same issues when I used to have my Cq on the road all year, little grip for stopping or turning in snow on the 205's, so used to fit narrow 185 winter tyres and with diffs locked you could almost use full power starts, easy controlled turns/slides and 70% better stopping ability. So if we are going to start getting proper snow again, get some cheap alloys with narrower winter tyres on...Will pay for themselves the first accident you don't have..
