I hear the 07k'd urQ will be getting some dyno love over the US holidays. The expectation is that they'll run out of fuel before finding any other limit.Comment

This is a great thread that I have missed out on. I need to read it all a few times to get all the details correctly but the magic seems to be in the efficiency of the head and more compact packaging - which is a real bonus for a bigger swept volume.
One question I have is whether this engine accommodates the S2 motronic sensors for crank position, rpm, camshaft position and knock. I personally wouldn't be interested in a vems conversion - this block would give an alternative path to reliable 400bhp with very little lag and a great torque spread...probably running higher CR than the monster power drag strip users of this engine and running stock internals to keep costs down.
Are the stock rods on that 2.5 motor beefy enough for 600Nm torque ?
What is source of uprated bearings ?
Great work by Hank & others !!!Paul Nugent
