lol #5 blimey, i hadnt realised.

Spent far too much of 2012 in hotels or in transit to be honest. Something like 18 weeks of at least 1-2 nights away and crap hotel wifi mean i've not been on much and when i'm home i am playing Dad catch up

unfortuntely will be home for less than a week before i'm off for another 3 days in Helsinki business travel is not all its cracked up to be i can assure you...this place on the other hand...legendary

I know David , but pulling my hair out when trying to find parts that arent there or getting ripped off for stupid things that sold for next to F all a few years ago , needing a sunroof seal and cheapest I could find is 200 quid !!

agree about vagparts, at least they was always in a good mood when you chatted with them unlike some supposed audi parts specialists.

So much has been dropped by VAG that used parts are now fetching silly money...

BUT worse than that Classic Parts from Germany (or Audi Heritage) are just as bad for keeping bumping up their parts that have been in stock for over 20 years... They seem to think that they can add 20 years worth of storage prices on to the parts...

I can't see this getting better for S2 or UR owners - they know they have a "Captive Market" and seem to be willing to exploit it as much as they can...

I do more lurking these days rather than posting, mostly for fear of getting abuse for not finishing my S2. But I also have it for keeps, so I feel I still have plenty if time.
