Hmm don't think we did them when I changed the chains and tensioners, shame as I had the IM off for a boost leak on the IAT sensor recently too.

Anyway the car doesn't usually rattle on start up, not since tensioners were done. The engine was running when the oil cooler got ripped off and all the oil was pumped out, so it's been sitting dry for 4 months or so..

I was also told when I bought mine there were 4, but not the case. I think the confusion started when some of the special order colours didn't have a the colour code printed on the car's ID sticker apparently. In addition, a couple of Santorin were sold/resold by Nick Johnson as Azure Blue (no Azure Blue were made - well not in RHD).

Dest has found 8 in total (including the one that was broken) when considering he has them by VIN number, there's no reason to doubt.

I did know at one point about a year ago where they all were/who had them (including yours) bar 1, but can't remember now.

There was a user on RS246 called RS4boy who up until the end of 2012 at least still had his. Another chap called Desmond from 246 apparenty took his to France (it had a one off caramel leather and wood trim)

I remember seeing another couple of posters on 246 with one a while back that's not related to others I've mentioned and there's anothe floating about somewhere perhaps.

So, maximum 7 still alive (yours amost another casualty) we know where 3 currently are (you, me & Adam) and one's out of the country which means there's another 3 out there that may or may not be with the last owners I knew about.

Engine and gearbox mounts and subframe are now replaced, passenger side suspension replaced, tomorrow hopefully brakes, ARB, wheel on, drop it on the deck and go for a spin up the driveway

Then I have to get it up to QCW.

I'd guess he's lifting the subframe on the jack

Yeah, the body is on axle stands, the motor is hanging on the support and the jack is lifting the subframe, should have got better pics really.

I make it 18 bushes and 10 ball joints.. In the front.. Plus the ARB rubbers, 2 engine mounts and 2 gearbox mounts.. I might have missed a few though
