KW will fix them for you, have a word with one of there dealers, i spoke to a KW sales bloke at ADI about upgrading to V3 and seemed v reasonable so i'm sure the re-build would be too. also had a read up on my coilovers cos i was sure i was told they wernt koni and apparently they changed them about 2 years ago from 100% koni units to koni casings but with non-standared internals, prob still made b koni but just MUCH stiffer than the norm, so that was the mix-up. but back on topic (sry Breitling)

would have thought you'd get some reasonable cash for them as if you get them re-furbed they will be essentially brand new....they would replace at lease both front shocks poss rears too...new coating on the springs....

have yo thought of any other suspention modifications you want to do??

Hello again..
The Rs is still in the garage and not in use on salty dirty roads. Looking forward to drive it again..
These days im building a new engine for it
2,5 l stroker and Autronic engine management.

What block are you using? The diesel or standard 220mm for the stroker?

I was first going to use the 220, but im not sure anymore. Looks like its more "dont`s"
than "do`s"..

Can you tell in few sentences: how it was made, what should be considered, are there not any cracks after because of hot from EM, turbo, engine?

They were welded in. No cracks. I have the org airbox so it doesnt get that hot.
Rain is not an issue ( simply dont drive it on rainy days)
