Would it be worthwhile getting a list up of all what he owes people (to the best of there knowledge) so that all the info's in one place?

Yep, that was Bazil's carbon stuff he sent over from NZ wasn't it, I've had nothing to do with the **** then or since. Thats how long he's been getting away with this, years and years, its not as though people haven't been warned either. Bloody shame..Yes i remember that, 2005 wasn't it. I avoided talking to him, i just wanted to wrap a spanner round his ******* head tbh. I've never liked the muppet, ever since the days of the quattro owners club forum when he ripped off a few UR owners in New Zealand over some carbon radiator shrouds.
Get that list up so we can see what parts we've got David.Comment

i was lucky i was going to get some work done by him but was watned off by Phil Payne on the quattroforum, thank god i listened to him then. May i suggest that everyone reports the police. Let them decide whether there is case to be heard within criminal law3'' Longlife Exhaust, Koni Adjustables, H&R Springs, Full RS2 Setup with Mr Nugents RS2 Chips

There is no smoke without fire and its about time someone blew some flames into a coppers face so to speak:mischeif:Comment

Thank you for all the posts of support and incredulity.
One person made the comment, why was it left there so long?, the reason was I was at a disadvantage being across the water and while I visited him a number of times and received reassurances and I trustingly gave him the benefit of the doubt a number of times due to pressure of work and being across the water and wanting the car to be done, I can now naturally see things in a very different light. i.e. hindsight certainly gives you 20 / 20 vision.

As regards people’s kind offers of parts to replace the missing parts, funds are tight after this debacle, and so is time due to family and work commitments, so for the time being I’m going to let the car rest outside the house in it’s current state and devote some time and energy in pursuing this individual and I don’t want to do or say anything to compromise my position in relation to this pursuit.
I will be taking the first step on this road tomorrow by contacting the relevant person in the local Trading Standards Office at County House, 100 Chesterfield Road South Mansfield, Notts, NG19 7AQ.
I will also in the next few days add the relevant reference / contact details to facilitate anyone affected by this individual to inform the Trading Standards directly of how they were adversely affected and let Trading Standards assemble and correlate the “incidents” which will allow them to grasp the size of the problem and also be suitable briefed to do something about it.
I would agree with a list of people affected by this individual being run on this thread similar to a group buy thread where members copy and paste their "incidents" limiting their detail to say one of two lines so that the scale of the problem can be quantified once and for all at this pivotal moment in time which should hopefully tip the balance in favour of the affected parties. Up to now it has all been one way. I recognise that not all members may wish to post their own "incident" on the forum, but I would definitely urge them to contact Trading Standards once I post the relevant contact details in the next few days.
Notwithstanding the above, there is one part that I am in need of straightaway and that is a straight (ABY) sub-frame with no or very little rust. It will be sandblasted and powder coated before it is fitted. This car was to have been upgraded a good bit past RS2 level and would have been an indefinite keeper, now that budget is gone, but the loan still has to be repaid. It could have bought any RS2 from Pistonheads today.
I will put up a list of parts in a while, when I can focus on making such a list.
Please feel free to pm me with any information, (including contact details of professionals connected with his IVA), that you feel may be relevant to ensuring a successful outcome against this individual.
I would like this thread to become a Sticky in due course to ensure it acts as a permanent reminder to all regarding this individual, and hopefully will help other members avoid similar situations occurring with him (unlikely, but look at me) or anyone else.
Thank you again and kind regards.Comment

Would it be worthwhile getting a list up of all what he owes people (to the best of there knowledge) so that all the info's in one place?
@Acidburn
I think that would be hard for most people my entry on the IVA stated £2000 give or take, in reality it was more than 6k plus a lot of fuel, wasted trips (with heavys) i still have a forum members h&r suspension in my garage which corey gave to me to move my car as he had took mine, plus wishbones who belong to the same forum member.
When Aelred was building my engine he requested the titanium parts for the head which corey owed me he sent them to aelred, i recieve a phone call from aelred saying he has a magnet stuck to the parts!
He sent me the wrong turbo and the wrong oil and water line kit, in the meen time all the ancillarys from the car have been removed, i request these back and get sent a box of useless crap mostly 3b stuff that wouldnt fit, then the ****** has the cheek to ask me whether they could test there "bespoke" manifold on my build......he is a very special person i think the moral gene definatly went missing.Comment

@David in Dublin - right from the 1st time I met you and you told me that your car was going there for big work I was concerned for you. Then it seemed to drag and drag on, and he must have been a good talker to convince you that he was still making progress despite the long delay.
I only briefly met 'the man himself' at Gregs garage some years ago. One thing happened that really worried me about his abilities... we were doing some electrical work outside on his S6 while the sunroof was open... then it started to rain and he freaked cos he couldn't get it closed. I showed him where the manual crank handle was and couldnt help wondering how ****ing clueless he must have been to not know about that.
He was wild keen to get a set of my AAN chips at one stage and I always had a doubt that he'd end up reselling them as his own so politely forgot to process his request.
I really hope the low-life gets his come uppance... This is beyond dispicable and it really gauls me to think about how many people he has ****ed over without the law managing to catch up with him... There he is swanning about in an RS6 as well, and had the audacity to give attitude to the guy getting his own property back - wonder what the reg plate is on that RS6 - would be terrible if something happend to it eg a lil accident involving a bottle of brake fluid, a brick and a bottle of bleach... Not that I am advocating physical actions of any type, but it would be ironic if some sort of vandalism happened to his prized possession.Paul Nugent

Oh meant to add... I have a spare front subframe here you can have for free if it cheers you up David... Now I'm sure its from a 3B so I dont know how much modification is required for clearance to ABY & 6-speed... You are welcome to it. Its had lots of elbow grease applied, rust treatment, two coats POR15 and two coats POR chassis coat black.Paul Nugent

Interesting point. I was thinking about Corey last night and decided that a) he is a sociopath with no morals whatsoever and b) the he might suffer from fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS) which would lead back to a). FAS types are sometimes (but not always) characterized by small heads. Even if that is not evident, one trait that they do have is the inability to put causes and effects together, i.e. no clue that when they do something, it is likely to lead to a particular consequence. Hence, no real morals. They just do. Without worry of consequences. As a result, they hurt a lot of people, friends, enemies and families alike. Their brains are just not wired properly between the left half and the right half. Not that this an excuse under the law.
Either that or he's just a complete *****er.

i wasn't having a dig david when i said why leave it so long. i understand you are over there and had to trust the work was going on. i get nervous only leaving the car for a mot for a few hours. maybe thats me.
like i say i had prior of this. the person i had this with was dodgy to me and others but didn't rip customers off just his partner. his attitude was similar to coreys when in converstation. in the end my mate saw the light and closed the shop and therefore the business before it got too out of hand.
my mate had a subaru there which was in for a full veilside kit, spray, tein top spec suspension in car adjustable, full race spec engine, big turbo, 6 speed conversion.........the list is endless. it was finished after about 4.5 years. my mate offered to finish it in his spare time and i helped him, more on the elecy/mapping side. the engine you see in my avatar.
suppose the guy who owned the car, like you was not too pleased but once you in the hands of others sometimes its best not to upset the applecart until it has delivered. i presume thast what you thought.
i know of a guy very high up in the fraud squad in manchester. i can pick his brains if it helps.Comment

My goodness, this thread was a juicy read!
Firstly, I'm so sorry for those who've been screwed over by Quattronics. Especially David! It makes me realise just how lucky Ross and I were that the Audi was able to run once the engine was rebuilt. I can't believe someone would have no shame in stealing something as obvious as a front bumper!!
I know I'm only stating the obvious here, but it's crazy how things have changed. First I get slammed for my very first comment on this forum (which ironically enough, turned out to be spookily close to the truth) and then the whole "Don't talk about Quattronics or Corey will sue you" episode...then suddenly Corey comes on and starts posting again....then it all spiralled downhill very quickly for him. Grief. IVAs, theft, violence - now he's broken up his marriage, taken anything he can flog for some money and on the run!! I want to write a book about it, "The Rise and Fall of Corey Jones" it's a good story. ha.
I just hope he doesn't change his name and set up premises elsewhere and start conning others...we should set up a global group...you know, like the neighbourhood watch scheme. "The Corey Jones Watch"
At the end of it all, it looks like there's more than enough evidence against him to get the police involved.Comment
