You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links

I do indeed know the owner. Lives in Consett.
First met him at a Croft track day way back. I bought a full set of Avus wheels and tyre off him at some point.
It's not so much a low spec for a late car, just a low spec for an earlier car registered late. IIRC it sat in a dealers showroom unregistered for quite a while.
Chassis number puts the build date around mid 1993., I know cos I checked it out through curiosity.
Still a minty car though. Sits in his heated garage most of the time.
I have his address and mobile number somewhere. Chaps name is Martin.

that explains a lot jason. the car is very very tidy, no doubts one of the best around but there seemed to be a lot "missing" from what you would expect.
