From the Racelogic data that you sent me on the 3076 0.82, 100-180kmh was 7.11s and 100-200kmh was 9.26s, both using 4th gear only.

On the 3071, 100-150kmh was 3.9s in 3rd and 4.5s in 4th, so that leaves 0.6s for shift and boost recovery in order to match the 4th gear 100-200 pull with a 3rd to 4th pull. Should be pretty close.

problem i get with racelogic is that sometimes in order to get to 200km on 4th i really need to be close to 7000rpm and this turbo on those areas is not that efficient!

because actual vs speedo is different!

I need to pull 7300rpm for 200km/h in 4th. Tacho has something like 1-2km/h difference to GPS.
140 to 200 @7300 in 4th is around 6.1sec btw, with a road that according to Google Earth rises 2m over that run. Funny to dissapear at such a rate from people who are cruising 130-140

It will be parked aside for the next few days however, servopump has started to spray out the PAS fluid... get the (!) at every corner now, and it even fails when turning at standstil at coldstarts now. Thanks for the link btw, if I don't find a good replacement I'll look into sending it over!

yeah, our gear ratio is not the best for those times, which is why till 160-170 we get a very good time with those middle range turbos and then it takes forever for 200km

it might be better off changing from 4th to 5th so that 5th is within 5000rpm or something were boost is still very high

Yes, even a little bit more I think. Certainly at higher gears.

Are the OEM Boge shocks known for a reduced lifespan?

My RS2 had had a knocking in the front end for a while now. It's very prominent on sharp/short road imperfections, like a pothole. It's not a metallic rattle, but a tok tok
,bit more rubber-like hollow sounding knock. Really heavy bumps really do make it sound a bit more vicious. To me it sounds like a top mount, but it isn't...
Even at 10km/h on our cobble stone driveway I can hear it silently knocking along at a speedy rate.

My wishbones are new since 20.000km
stabbars are checked and OK
ARB bushed replaced yesterday
Topmounts replaced yesterday
Checked strut insert cap (tightened like hell with a pipe wrench)
well tightened the slotted nut on top
checked the springs are seated nicely and not broken
checked/adjusted steering rack preload
checked rack bolts and tierod ends
new subframe rubbers since 4000km
new engine mounts and gearbox mounts since 10000km
And generally checked every bolt on the struts or in the enginebay.

Since I find it dives quite hard on the front end, I'm starting to think toward a faulty shock absorber?

The front shocks were replaced around 95000km ago with OEM blue Boge ones, so I'd find it pretty quick, but then again... I've got no idea what else it could be??

Boge shocks were shattered on mine in 30k kms and have been using bilstein ever since. Trouble is that I recently had mine replaced for a similar knock and the knock disappeared for a few days and now it has come back. I have powerflex bushes and everything else checked like you, but I now cannot understand what it can be!

I will be replacing the topmounts with Promounts next year and re-check everything again...

Honestly I don't know what a bad shock would sound like
