^^ Well, there is no market price for RS2 because it is not traded at all.. When new, the RS2 was never imported here.
    The B6 RS4 and C5 RS6s were officially imported and sold for US$ 128,000 and 170,000, respectively.
The contemporary M3 and C63 are sold new around US$ 88,000 now. The prices have been on decline.

On that note, I would be very concerned that my RS2 was running a brake master cylinder designed to stop a Hyundai /Kia from 120 kph when I was going 240 kph in the RS2. Sounds like a major "Oh, F*gg" moment waiting to happen.
I think I am good for now.. I confirmed with its part number that the brake booster is for a 2.5-ton, 400-horsepower Hyundai Equus. Hope it has some capacity. Your concern is well noted, though.

Thank you for your comments and suggestions on my car. I originally asked you up front because:

    1. I don't have deep knowledge in the engineering side of cars, let alone turbos.

    2. I have never seen a RS2, stock or modified, in person or through media.. I have no idea what the mechanicals should look in the engine room.

    3. As rightly guessed by prj, it will be very hard to find a good garage here (that is, a garage that knows RS2 well).. I am going to visit a couple of garages over the next week, and I thought I need to list up the things that need to be examined.

So, I asked for your comments because I wanted to know what's wrong and what's right about my car and wanted to list up the things to address - And you all did a great job

When I decided to buy this car, my original intention was to convert it to stock form. Yet, now I am thinking that a little modification maybe a better idea.

Well, I don't know where to start.. I have no idea why someone would replace the old one with a non-factory brake booster. I was wondering whether how farther I should go if I was to change it to the stock hydraulic one.
I may leave it as it is if the current set up gives me some advantages (i.e. maintenance, brake performance etc.) I was asking the pros and cons about the two brake systems in this regard.

    2) How big is the exhaust pipe from the back of the turbo? In the picture it looks like 2-2.5 inch! infact it looks the same size as the wastegate output
    3) Why on earth is the pcv valve connected directly to the cam cover on the back of the head?
Thank you for sharing your observations. For the 3), are you talking about the black, half-ball shaped thingy at the back, next to the gold wire?
May I have some pics to see as to how it should be placed?

I guess I agree. Yet, my car has to become a guinea pig in a sense because it has to be locally serviced.. Again, people here are very knowledgeable about local and Japanese turbo cars. I am not sure how much it will help on my RS2, though.

To make 350 PS you need approx. 1.2-1.3 on stock head, and to make 400 you need 1.5.

The plumbing for the turbo looks quite bad. Especially the fact that the filter is fitted directly onto the MAF. The MAF will not report correct readings this way.
All of that should be redone properly, the best way would be to re-fit stock airbox with modifications...

    Good luck with your car.
That's probably true. I quoted the horsepower from the previous owner and I did not verified whether the claim was true because it didn't matter. I will be sorting out things and I hope the power will follow along the way.

For no ovbious reason, I am a big fan of factory air boxes. I am trying to get a factory airbox assembly now. If anyone has one for sale, let me know! ebay.de and ebay.nl have become my regular sites.. I have never realized that the Google translator actually helps.

Seems to be 370 max bit hard to make out, if so don't know why they change it over the oem rs2. I think the car is nice looking but there's a lot of jobs and parts on it I would remove
For the parts you'd remove, specific examples and reasons will be much appreciated. I am eager to learn things here.

2.That RS2 has vacuum booster?I saw in the photo it's dual diaphragm booster.I'm thinking to convert dual diaphragm on UrS6.Is it possible to get one from RS2 done on UrS6?

That's great to know there's another RS2 in Asia.Unfortunately, none of them in Thailand.
I got an offer from a salvage dealer from Japan about selling a blue RS2.The sad thing
is It's LHD.I will need to import that car and get another old 80 and registered the RS2
    as 80.
Yes, it is located in South Korea, a very unlikely place for a RS2. I thought in Thailand you drive a LHD? Japan has a following for LHD cars, even though the country enforces RHDs.

Even being as an average person, I noticed that the strut brace was missing. I will do something about it. And reconditioning is on the way for the wheels. But the priority is pretty low at this moment.

No I don't.. The picture is from the previous owner and the only one I have. It looks like the the intake/exhaust plumbing around the turbo needs work..

Always possible that whatever was fitted before was broken, they did not have a chance to repair it and picked something about the right size.
