Welcome aboard.
That looks to have had some extensive work done to it by previous owners, don't often see an MTM inlet on an RS2.
Any details on what's been done to the engine?
My "new" RS2.. Your input is much appreciated.

As said this car must have had a hell of a lot f money thrown at it. The MTM upgrades where always crazy money.
I wonder what stage tune it has. How much boot is it making?
Must be nice to have one of the only ones in Korea!Leave a comment:

Dude, Welcome to the forum

Thats a lovely RS2 you've got there. Looks like it means business!
Think a boot spoiler would look pretty cool and standard wheels maybe.

Hey welcome to the forum for a start and what a motor you bought there!! Do you know how much bhp it produces?? Ragussa green is a lovely colour maybe worth a polish or re-spray if you wanting it to look top notch!! As for the wheels and this is my opinion only!! I think they spoil it a little I'd look at original RS2 17's or possible RS4 18's. Looks like previous owner has spent a fortune on all the mods lucky you:mischeif:Leave a comment:

My "new" RS2.. Your input is much appreciated.
Hello, I am a newbie here who just bought RS2.
It is a 1995 model and I think the color is Ragusa Green.. It was heavily modified before coming to me, and I am not too sure about the overall packaging of the work. I had a decent deal buying this one and, for the next couple of years, I hope to bring this car to be one of better examples of RS2s out there.
My prevuous experience with Audis is 1997 A4 2.8 quattro.. and not much else. I am not too familiar with turbo engines, either.
here goes some picture of my car. Your comments, inputs, observations, suggestions as to how the car may be improved are greatly appreciated!!
Oh, by the way, I live in South Korea and there are only two known RS2s in the country. My RS2 is registered as Audi 80 quattro, because the registrar's database doesn't have RS2 on it.. It's good to know that the VIN of my car starts with WAC...

So this is it. The exterior is not a top notch. Stone chips, scratches, a little bit of rust, dings, cracked plastics.. It has MTM 18 inch wheels, and strangely, no roof rails. Was it an option when new??
behind is my family ride, Kia Sorento.

The rear center trim piece has some serious cracks on it. The previous owner taped it to keep it in one piece. I've got one from ebay even before I bought this car!
On the far right is my personal ride, Lexus ISF

There are some MTM badgings on the car. The speedometer also has one. Now it clocked some 70,000km..

The engine bay may need some cleanup. How do you think, guys? I am open to any suggestions.

Here comes the turbo plumbing..

It's the prev. owner's photo.. In goes the new cast manifold. The old tubular manifold was severely cracked. I hope he got a quality manifold..

Around the wastgate area..

I am not familiar with turbos.. The prev. owner said the turbo is Greddy TD06 (?). I don't know about a thing. I spot the Mitsubishi mark on the housing and Greddy on the blue plate. Maybe Greddy outsourced it to Mitsu.

Does the brake look original? I don't have any reference against which I can check it, although I've read many posts about the brakes here in s2forum.

Inside the engine appears to be clean..

I know this brake booster is not original, because it says "Mando" - A major automotive supplier to Hyundai/Kia. I may replace the booster with Audi one. Suggestion is welcome here.

MTM wheel.. Why why did the prev. owner painted it black??
I am very excited to be a part of RS2 history with my car. Thank you for reading this post!Last edited by huksa; 26 February 2012, 09:19.Tags: None
