You're right, that's why my chipped 3B did 298 bhp on the rollers with a cone filter installed. And I've been told the Motronic doesn't like an open BOV as pointed out above.
I believe an ABY/RS2 filterbox with an enlarged front intake will reveal some of the sound you get with a cone as well.

BOV is not right way to go for now because its nightmare to get it work.
And i readed a lot of info that cone filter is also a bad way because you will lose power. It will suck hot air.
If you had 3B airbox then did you get some power gains if you changed to cone?
As i said, First performance and then sound!

Rs2 air box seems to be the best compromise. If you build good heat shielding around a cone filter setup this is also an option

Did not have it on the rollers with the 3B airbox, it looks to be restrictive compared to the ABY/RS2 airbox.
Best would be an RS2 airbox probably as Greg said, but you can install other performance items for the price of one RS2 airbox nowadays.

I think that an ABY box is best option. Because that box i can find in forums but RS box is hard to find..
Will ABY box give also more power that 3B one? Iam also looking for best performance.
Does ABY box fit bolt on ? No need to change nothing or program?

I found the car more responsive with the ABY box and BMC filter
